Anthony Paproki

Queensland NIF Node Facility Fellow

Dr. Anthony Paproki completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Technology of Belfort Montbéliard in 2011 and subsequently earned a PhD in Biomedical Imaging from the University of Queensland in 2016. His research focuses on developing advanced medical imaging algorithms, particularly for the automated segmentation and quantitative analysis of MRI data. During his PhD, Dr. Paproki developed deformable-model based algorithms for the segmentation and analysis of knee menisci in clinical and research MRI. His post-doctoral fellowship with the CSIRO furthered his expertise in medical image informatics, where he optimized MRI protocols for assessing lung disease in children with cystic fibrosis and ataxia-telangiectasia. He currently focuses on providing support for the development and application of AI for medical image analysis.
