The Florey provides access to two 3T human MRI scanners dedicated to research: A Siemens 3T Prisma MRI scanner; and a Siemens 3T Vida wide-bore MRI scanner. These facilities provide the research community access to state-of-the-art imaging for human clinical research.
We are also equipped with a range of peripheral equipment including high density EEG, transcranial magnetic stimulation, in-scanner eye-tracking, prospective motion correction and a range of phantoms designed for precision quantitative imaging.
The Florey is adjacent to Austin Health and is fitted with integrated mock MRI and patient interactions suites, providing an ideal environment for clinical trials and human imaging research.
