Role Description

This is a casual, on-site role based in Nedlands, for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating our Siemens digital PET-CT imaging equipment, and ensuring compliance with radiation safety protocols. Additional responsibilities include managing patient care during imaging procedures, performing quality assurance tests, and maintaining accurate records of imaging results and safety measures.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of Radiation Safety protocols and regulations
  • Expertise in Nuclear Medicine and the preparation and application of Radiopharmaceuticals
  • Strong understanding of medical imaging and diagnostic procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
  • Experience in clinical imaging is an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field
