Research Infrastructure Connected (RIC) and the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS) network invite you to our NCRIS staff networking event in Brisbane where we will be very lucky to tour the RV Investigator.
RV Investigator is Australia’s marine research vessel which is managed by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), through Australia’s Marine National Facility, with its operations funded by the Australian Government to undertake oceanographic, geoscience, ecosystem and fisheries research of national benefit.
If you are NCRIS Provider staff, we invite you to join us for a delicious morning tea at the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal, 1 Cruise Terminal Drive (via Marine Road), Pinkenba (map linked) to converse and catch-up with the wider NCRIS family.
The purpose of this event is to learn more about the RV Investigator and to get to know your colleagues in the NCRIS network, learn from each other and hear about the incredible capabilities and opportunities across the network.
Program
The event is free, but registration is essential (for space on the boat and catering purposes please)
Who Should Attend
NCRIS staff based in Brisbane and surrounds.
*Please note, if you would like to bring friends or family, CSIRO will be holding a public open day with 15-minute tours or RV Investigator on 16 November 2025.
