The Melbourne Brain Centre Imaging Unit invites you to the official launch of the Optically Pumped Magnetometer Magnetoencephalography (OPM-MEG) facility, an instrument that provides groundbreaking advancement in brain-imaging capability and a major milestone for Australian neuroscience research based at the University of Melbourne.
OPM-MEG is at the forefront of non-invasive, wearable neuroimaging technology that enables researchers to explore brain activity with unprecedented precision, flexibility and comfort, opening new pathways for discovery across cognitive science, clinical research, engineering and cross-disciplinary endeavours.
The launch event will include an official opening of the OPM-MEG facility and overview of the technology, followed by morning tea in the KMB foyer.
