Global Bioimaging: Spotlight on Data webinar series

Building on the success of the GBI Spotlight on Career Paths, Global BioImaging, together with German BioImaging is facilitating the GBI Spotlight on Data webinar series — a global initiative focused on research data management for imaging scientists and core facilities.

Led by the International Image Data Management Working Group, the series introduces a “10 Steps” framework for Research Data Management in IMAGING CORE FACILITIES, explored month by month through interactive sessions, discussions, and hands-on examples from across the world.

The next GBI Spotlight on Data episode, “Start early with a (Research Data Management) Plan,” explores how a practical, living Data Management Plan can help imaging facilities and imaging scientists manage data more effectively throughout the entire research lifecycle.

Drawing on real-world experience from the imaging community, this chapter discusses what a DMP should include, why it should evolve with your project, and how early planning can support better data stewardship, collaboration, and reuse.
