Crossing Barriers: From Biomarker Discovery to Developing PET Tracers for Imaging Immune Activity in the CNS and Beyond

24 November, 2026

Feature Image

Join Associate Professor Michelle James from the Molecular Imaging Program at Stanford University, for a seminar exploring the development of molecular imaging tools for detecting immune dysfunction in the CNS and beyond.

The presentation will cover TSPO-PET/MRI in ME/CFS, the discovery of new imaging targets using spatial transcriptomics and machine learning, and the development of novel GPR84 PET tracers for imaging neuroinflammation. Together, these studies highlight an integrated pipeline from biomarker discovery to clinical translation.

Date: 24 November 2026, 10:00-11:00 AEST (Brisbane)
Venue: AIBN Seminar Room and online via Zoom
