The Clinical and Research Imaging Centre (CRIC) at SAHMRI is one of Australia’s most advanced imaging research facilities including one of the first ultra-high 200mT/m clinical research MRI systems in the world, the Australian Centre for Photon-Counting CT and an ultra-low field point-of-care 64mT MRI research program. The centre has master research agreement with Siemens Healthineers and is supported by the National Imaging Facility.
The Clinical Research Fellow in Point-of-Care Imaging will join SAHMRI’s Clinical and Research Imaging Centre to help grow the clinical and research impact of point-of-care imaging, with a focus on ultra-low field brain MRI. Working with imaging specialists, clinicians, researchers and health system partners, the role will support research programs across areas such as cerebrovascular health, traumatic injury and health equity.
This position will provide clinical leadership, contribute to research strategy, manage projects and build collaborations across local and national networks. It is well suited to a clinically experienced medical or allied health professional looking to expand their research capability and contribute to innovative imaging research with real-world health impact.
