The survey gives our community a voice in shaping how NIF evolves, highlighting what is working well, where improvements are needed and emerging needs we should prepare for.
This helps us deliver services that are relevant, accessible and impactful, ensuring we continue to enable high‑quality research across Australia.
Your answers help guide our strategy
We know that the requirements of Australian research are always evolving. Answers from you as a research user will contribute to shaping NIF’s strategic direction, particularly about the effectiveness of our capabilities and where we need to focus future investment.
We can then carefully consider user needs for technology upgrades, service improvements, training and national coordination.
This evidence helps us report to funders
As well as NIF’s direction, your answers help us demonstrate to government and funders the value of our national research infrastructure. Evidence about how NIF capabilities contribute to research outcomes, collaboration and national benefit help justify continued investment in imaging infrastructure.
