Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Associate Professor in Medical Imaging to join School of Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Health.

We invite applications for an influential Associate Professor with a national or international reputation for excellence in medical imaging education, research, and leadership. The position will provide exceptional leadership, mentorship, and support across learning and teaching, research and research training, and engagement activities to enhance academic outcomes for the School of Clinical Sciences. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of evidence-based teaching in undergraduate courses, a high level of understanding of contemporary medical imaging practice, and a track record in research and supervision leading to quality student outcomes.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Completion of a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline area, and current registration or eligibility to register with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (or international equivalent).
  • Proven record of excellence in scholarly and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
  • Record of high impact and high-quality research and translation of research outcomes into education and practice.
  • Demonstrated success in leading clinical and academic teams, including the ability to successfully mentor clinical and academic staff.
  • Demonstrated excellence in, and high-level understanding of, contemporary medical imaging practice.
  • Demonstrated success at establishing and maintaining collaborations that extend best practices, implement leading solutions, and realise new opportunities.
