Partnerships

Fundamental to the NIF model is collaboration. Our partners are essential to our success, from sharing knowledge and expertise to co-funding arrangements, we are proud to have a variety of national and international partners.

Global BioImaging

NIF and Microscopy Australia are partners in Global BioImaging Project, which facilitates access to a global network of imaging platforms; enables exchange of experience in technology development; explores standardisation of access protocols, data formats and processing protocols. Such standardisation, together with the sharing of data, facilitates transglobal collaborative discovery projects with translation to multi-centre clinical trials.

EuroBioImaging

NIF is a member to a Memorandum of Understanding with Euro-BioImaging. Euro-BioImaging is a platform for a distributed, open-access research infrastructure with a complete range of state-of-the-art technologies and training in biological, molecular and medical imaging.

NCRIS Health Group

Health and medical researchers investigate solutions to complex problems that are often not easily solved by a single discipline. The NCRIS Health Group is aimed at enabling them collaboratively throughout the innovation and translational process. Learn more.

Partners

In addition to our Delivery Partners (‘Nodes‘), NIF runs on a co-investment model highlighting local backing for imaging research infrastructure. Co-investing in an NCRIS project provides financial partners with a cost-effective mechanism to meet their research infrastructure or broader policy implementation needs.
