CMCA is the primary provider of small animal imaging in Western Australia through their newly formed Bioimaging Facility (BIF) located at the QEII Medical Centre.
BIF features mass spectral imaging (capable of capturing both bioluminescence and fluorescence) and micro-CT.
CMCA is also the Western Australian node of the AMMRF and provides access to advanced optical and confocal microscopy for the study of ultrastructures. Facilities are located in a PC2 environment and animal care and surgical capabilities are available.
